Coralie Goetz

We are pleased to announce Coralie Goetz's success in the Oniris VetAgroBio Assistante Professor competition and her arrival at the SECALIM joint research unit, where she now holds a position as a assistant-professor in the field of microbial engineering and production environment hygiene.
A microbiologist specializing in the characterization and control of bacterial biofilms in the agri-food industry, Coralie trained at the interface between pharmacy, veterinary science, and food science.
In 2013, she obtained her state-certified doctorate in pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences in Montpellier, before pursuing a doctorate in veterinary sciences at the University of Montreal (Canada). She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Food Science at Laval University (Canada), followed by a second at the Institut Agro Rennes-Angers within the INRAE STLO (Science and Technology of Milk and Eggs) research unit in Rennes.

Since January 2025, Coralie has been a Contractual Teaching and Research Officer at Oniris VetAgroBio. She taught in the Microbiotech unit as part of the Oniris engineering program. Her research at Secalim focused on microbiological contamination in production environments. We are delighted to now count her as a permanent member of our unit as a teacher-researcher, bringing to SECALIM recognized expertise in understanding the dynamics of biofilms in production environments.
