Concours de professeur de Nabila Haddad

Nabila Haddad completed her doctoral thesis at SECALIM on  the “Study of the involvement of polynucleotide phosphorylase, PNPase, in cold survival and virulence of Campylobacter jejuni", which she defended in 2010. Since passing the Maître de conférences exam in 2011, Nabila has been in charge of the “Campylobacter stress response” theme at SECALIM. It was not without emotion that her thesis supervisor, Jean-Michel Cappelier, president of the jury for the Professor competition, announced to Nabila that she had passed the competition, after the 50-minute lesson she had to complete in a very tight 24-hour timeframe to obtain the Holy Grail!

The lesson, aimed at 3rd year engineering students from Oniris VetAgroBio, was on Risk Analysis of the main pathogenic bacteria in the French beef industry, and the associated means of control. Nabila rose to the challenge with brio, delivering a brilliant, dynamic lesson that earned her the compliments of the jury. We're proud to count her among our members, and congratulate her on her achievements, her dynamic approach to the subject and the team spirit and sharing that characterize her.
